The Washington Mutual CAN!® (Committed Active Neighbors) program helps improve our educational system and helps increase the amount of affordable housing in our communities. The Washington Mutual Foundation makes grants to various non-profit organizations working in these issue areas. These gifts are targeted primarily to support education and affordable housing. In addition, hundreds of Washington Mutual CAN! volunteers lend a hand to a wide variety of other community projects.
